David Wilson
BArch(Hons) MArch RIAS RIBA
DIRECTOR
I was
born and brought up in Perth and moved to Glasgow in 1997 to study at
the Mackintosh School of Architecture, where I attained a 1st Class
Honours and a Masters degree.
Following my degree, I spent my Part 1 period working in Delft in the
Netherlands with DP6 architectuurstudio, an experience which was very
enjoyable as well as instrumental to my development as an architect.
After completing my studies, I joined OLA in 2004 and became a Director
of the company in 2008 where I have experience in a broad range of
building types including Commercial, Residential (including Listed
Buildings), Industrial, Healthcare and IT.
In my spare time I am President of Glasgow Triathlon Club and I train
and race to facilitate my ongoing cake and red wine addiction (see
later). In 2010 I completed my full set of triathlon distances with
Ironman Switzerland. Back in my school days I was a county level golfer
but now with so little practice I have been reduced to desperate lunges
at a small white ball and lots of swearing.
