I grew up in Oban, in the west coast of Scotland and moved to Glasgow in 1996 to study at the Mackintosh School of Architecture.
 
Following my degree, I spent my Part 1 qualification period working in London, an experience I value greatly as it threw me straight into the cauldron of the working architect's world. After completing my studies, I joined OLA in 2002 and became a Director of the company in 2008 where I have gained significant experience in a broad range of contract and building types including commercial, residential industrial, healthcare, bio-sciences as well as working with listed buildings
 
I have a passion for food. There is an old Chinese saying ''If it walks, swims, crawls, or flies with its back to heaven, you can eat it''
