Strathbungo Parish Church, Category
'B' Listed Building, built circa 1886. The church building and halls had lain empty and fallen into a dilapidated
condition. The final design retained the stone facade and tower and incorporated 28 new build flats built behind
over 5 floors. The new build is finished in natural zinc cladding to contrast with retained historic elements while
the stone entrance portico from the demolished halls was retained as a garden feature and "trace memory" of the demolished structure.
Opfer Logan Architects were responsible for design concept, detailed design, planning and building warrant, working drawings and tender.
The project was completed as a design and build contract.
