Description |
Opfer Logan Architects were
commissioned for a partial demolition and extensive refurbishment of a property in Thorntonhall. With
our involvement, the brief evolved to that of a new build home on the site comprising of several
distinct parts including the main house, a home office, additional guest bedrooms and a swimming
pool. The final design created a grand central hallway that serves all parts of the house whilst
also allowing different functions of the house to remain separate if so desired. The design and
finish of the different functioning areas of the new house were consciously designed to create
individual identities whilst maintaining an aesthetic flow between the spaces.
