Portavadie Distillery
A landmark new whisky destination on Loch Fyne
Proposals for a new single-malt whisky distillery nestled along the rugged coastline of the remote Cowal peninsula in Argyll & Bute. The glass-fronted stillhouse, which faces the shores of Loch Fyne, offers a warm invitation to visitors who will be greeted by a high-end restaurant and tasting bar, in addition to a thoughtfully composed visitor experience.
The gabled forms of the distillery, orientated towards the water, reference traditional coastal dwellings, whilst the hard-wearing metal cladding speaks to its more utilitarian purpose.
